![]() ![]() The general thought is, the audio engine is suffering and I'm not sure where the fault lies. I had a Drummer track that was right on the beat lag behind it audibly. The most bizarre things I've noticed have to do with the Drummer tracks and even the built-in click. If not the interface, then it's just Logic in general. Apple’s acknowledged a number of issues with the latest macOS Monterey beta on its website. It only takes a couple tracks for problems to arise (cracking in the audio), but I don't get the "system is overwhelmed" message. Since upgrading I have had poor performance overall with latency and audio-I now suspect my interface (Behringer umc404hd) is not happy with Monterey or vice versa. I am not sure yet if the hard drive was causing some of my issues, mostly with big sample libraries that were being pulled from it. I have another post on here about a specific issue where my external ssd was running slowly, but I have since resolved that with a new usb cable.
